Hello friends, I’ve been all-aboard with devices that simplify daily chores at home and Air Fryers definitely fall into this category. What are air fryers good at?
I know many of you are probably curious about air fryers or maybe have some concerns about this new kitchen appliance. I have also written an article about the benefits of air fryers you can check by accessing this link. Are air Fryers any good? Let’s find out.
Let me tell you about my experience

I first meet this new appliance when me and my family traveled to Canada and stayed with a very close friend of mine. He decided to surprise us with some homemade fried chicken wings and what a surprise it was. The way he cooked them was so simple yet the result was incredible. He used an air fryer.
I did not know what this appliance was or what it did. He explained he was going to fry them without oil and assured me they were going to be great. The result, as I mentioned earlier, was incredible, the wings were crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside.
My friend did not need to do much besides adding the seasoning and there was no oily mess afterward either. I fell in love with the simplicity, practicality, and cleanliness of preparing fried meals using this device.
After returning home I researched the appliance the best I could and learned the best models and brands anyone can buy. I ended up buying the 4 quarts Ninja Air Fryer and the first thing I tried making was tater tots and hamburger patties.
I was amazed by how easy the food was cooked. After 10 minutes in the air fryer, the tater tots turned out so crispy and crunchy and this without using any oil.
I was really impressed! The Hamburger patties, like the chicken wings my friend made, were very juicy inside and had a nice brown color outside. Do you know what the best part was? The best part was that it didn’t make any mess in my chicken, soo cool.
I am using my Airfryer almost every night for either breakfast or dinner. I started sharing my experience with friends and family and now with you.
Are air fryers good for you? [My Honest experience]

I believe they are excellent but will definitely depend on your cooking habits. If you want healthier fried food at dinner and still get crispy and crunchy without a bunch of oil, air fryers will be perfect for you.
If you want to simplify breakfast by baking potatoes, making French toast, hot poppies, eggs and bacon and so on without making a mess in your kitchen, try it out. When it comes to the taste, I will honestly say the air fryer comes pretty darn close to the taste of food fried in oil but the healthy gains of using the air fryer instead will be substantial.
WHAT IS AN AIR FRYER?
Air fryers are a modern kitchen appliance that allows you to fry meals by using substantially less oil and, on some occasions, no oil at all. They fry by blowing very hot air at and around the food in an enclosed compartment of the device. It was first introduced in the market by Philips in 2010 and has been slowly making itself more and more popular taking the kitchen by storm in the past few years.
HOW TO CHOOSE AN AIR FRYER
Buying an air fryer for the first time can be a challenge. I understand!, is a new product and we are not sure what exactly look for. Let me give you some ideas.
Today, I am happy to share with you the most important features you have to look at when choosing an air fryer. Here you will see the most relevant aspects to look for; the brands that stand out the most and the important features you should be aware of.
1-Quality:
I strongly recommend getting an air fryer that is well built. Don’t go too cheap or you will regret it just a few short months after as the device starts falling apart. How well it holds up over time will be fundamental for your investment.
2-Capacity:
If you have a big family consider an air fryer from 3.0 to 5.3 quart capacity. Is good enough to prepare meals for 2 to 5 people. Go for a lower capacity if you are going to be cooking just for you and a partner.
3- Accessories:
Buying an Air fryer that comes with accessories is a plus. Be aware that accessories will be handy to diversify your recipes. If the air fryer doesn’t bring any, think about purchasing them later.
4-Price:
I am not going to tell you how much you should invest in an air fryer, but I can tell you that a good quality air fryer can be found between $100 and $300. Pick the best one according to your budget but don’t go too cheap because you will end up with a lower quality device. Before buying take the time to read the review of the product. Quality can be a big concern so is an important factor when choosing air fryers.
5- Brand:
Choose brands that give you at least a 1-year warranty. Brands like Philips, Ninja and Secura will not disappoint you. Use a recognized brand if you want a long-term investment. Brands are often worthy because they are better to cover you up with your warranty.
6- Easy to Clean up:
Most air fryers are really easy to clean. Look for models that are ceramic coated to avoid rust. If you have dishwasher look for one that is dishwasher safe so you don’t have to worry about hand-washing any parts.
